ABOUT DJDIVOT

Well, where do we get started???

Ok, DJDIVOT was born on the 10th month in 1981 in Townsville of all places!!! 

After leaving school at the age of 17, DJDIVOT took up a job as a GLASSY a month later at a local night club as he just had turned 18.

It was in this club that there was a long time friend of his fathers, who is a radio announcer, who was the DJ at the time and was very good at it.

It was this DJ who gave DIVOT the knowledge to start him off on his merry way thru the UPs and DOWNs of the life we like to call. NITE LIFE!!!!!!

DJDIVOT was cut from the roster from that club after new years eve as he was only employed as a fill for the festive season and now found himself working for another club as a GLASSY!!!! 

It was at this club which opened the doors for this DJ to start.

While this club was popular at one stage, it had far out done itself in the town and soon closed its doors leaving DJDIVOT without a job for 3 months.

It was then when he returned to the office of the club which had a largely popular club in CAIRNS and still use the office in Townsville for that club to get his group cert. that he asked if there was any jobs in the CAIRNS club. He was told yes. But only as a DJ!!!

Well that fit in quite well with this young lad who was only 18 at the time and very keen to get into the industry.

After 2 visits to Cairns, 1 to AYR, many to MAGNETIC ISLAND As resident DJ to clubs in those places. Also DJDIVOT has been resident at Quite a few clubs in his home town of TOWNSVILLE.

DJDIVOT has enjoyed great sucess as one of the highest paid DJ's in the NORTH QUEENSLAND area and has been a popular fixture on any towns GIG guide. If you have seen him play you would know why!!

DJDIVOT now only does Private parties and also produces his own style of dance music in his studio at his home in TOWNSVILLE reaching #62 at one stage in the charts.
